Sanctuary of Grazie

There are many pilgrimages of Christian communities, of families with their children, engaged couples and young couples, elderly, youth groups, school groups, priests and even tourists and connoisseurs of history, art and popular culture. But even more astounding is the continuous thread of solitary pilgrim, who loves the hidden corner, stops, looks, silent, whispering or praying.

In addition to the attraction sacred, the sanctuary is worth a visit inside, because its structure "play" makes it unique, if not unique! The side walls, by the Franciscans, were covered with wooden structures at multiple levels that contain almost life-size human statues of the miracles attributed to the main sanctuary. A stuffed crocodile above the entrance is a relic connected to the first miracle and dragon-demon chained together and won.
